Bart, AKA Bartamous, AKA Bartlett Dragon, is a ~ 8y/o Cattle Dog mix who has spent many years in and out of our care. This lovable sweet guy is quirky, which has made finding his perfect home challenging. Bart is literally the perfect dog; friendly, well behaved, walks nicely on leash, does well with other animals, but he has some anxieties that not everyone understands how to handle. Bart is a huge advocate for consent. Brushing him, trimming his nails, towel drying him, touching him while he is sleeping, and vet care are all activities that Bart generally does not consent to, and he is not shy about making his displeasure known! This handsome boy is super playful, food motivated, and so silly. His home must be canine savvy and breed experience would be preferred. Bart should be in an adult only home or with children 16+. He has lived with cats, and though friendly with other dogs would be best suited as an only dog.
